⭐ Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Biocurator – Clinical Genomics, you will:
- Conduct detailed literature reviews of genomic variants.
- Curate scientific articles to extract actionable variant-level insights.
- Annotate and document clinical significance of cancer-associated variants.
- Maintain and update SOPs for biocuration workflows.
- Support ongoing genomics projects across oncology and precision medicine.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills Required
Education:
✔ Master’s degree in Life Sciences – Biotechnology, Microbiology, Bioinformatics, Zoology, or equivalent.
Technical Expertise:
- Strong fundamentals in molecular biology, genetics, and genomics.
- Ability to analyze research literature for cancer-associated genomic variants.
- Hands-on familiarity with databases: PubMed, COSMIC, TCGA, MCG, OncoKB, ENSEMBL, GeneBank, NCBI.
- Understanding of NCCN guidelines, FDA labels & clinical trials (preferred).
- Knowledge of NGS, bioinformatics, and cancer biology is a plus.
