Product Specialist – Oncology (Solid Tumor)
The Product Specialist will be responsible for driving business growth in the assigned territory for the Oncology franchise, maintaining customer relationships, mapping territory potential, communicating scientific information about brands, and collaborating with healthcare practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
Market Development
- Map territory potential using market trends, referral pathway bottlenecks, competitor activities and unmet patient and caregiver needs.
- Profile and assess potential doctors and prepare target lists.
- Enlist new doctors according to business requirements.
- Build stakeholder maps covering HCPs, local patient advocacy groups and influencers.
- Support development of launch plans with the line manager and marketing team.
- Identify opportunities to accelerate access in reimbursed segments.
Scientific Engagement
- Develop sustainable relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and Key Business Leaders.
- Engage stakeholders in regular scientific activities to build awareness and brand advocacy.
- Plan and execute scientific activities in consultation with the Medical Affairs team.
- Support continuous medical education activities.
- Execute marketing campaigns related to disease management and therapy.
Sales Delivery
- Drive territory business growth and achieve budgeted sales objectives.
- Review territory sales plans and discuss monthly achievement strategies with the line manager.
- Support HCP engagement across reach, frequency, call average, call planning and effectiveness.
- Monitor availability and access to the brand.
- Gather insights from HCP, channel and stakeholder interactions.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners for execution.
- Use technology developments for effective field operations.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Candidates should have:
- B.Pharma or B.Sc
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- MBA is preferred in addition to the required qualification.
- Experience in Oncology or a similar specialty space is preferred.
