• Author and coordinate Phase I clinical and regulatory documents, including clinical study reports (CSRs), protocols, and submission summary documents.

Qualification

A university or college degree in a scientific discipline is required. An advanced qualification such as a Master’s, PhD, or MD is preferred.

Relevant educational backgrounds may include Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Pharmacology, Clinical Research, Biotechnology, Biochemistry and other related scientific disciplines, subject to Johnson & Johnson’s assessment of the candidate’s qualification.

Skills

Candidates should have strong written and spoken English, good MS Word skills, attention to detail, time and project management abilities, and an interest in interpreting and presenting statistical and medical information.

Role 2: Scientist, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacometrics

The Scientist, Pharmacokinetics and Pharmacometrics will contribute to end-to-end execution of Phase I clinical pharmacology studies, including protocol development, PK/PD data analysis, non-compartmental analysis, CSR development and regulatory documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Author Clinical Pharmacology sections of Phase I protocols.
• Coordinate protocol development and facilitate timely approval.
• Perform quality control reviews of clinical pharmacology protocols.
• Review trial-specific data transfer agreements for PK/PD analysis datasets.
• Create Clinical Pharmacology Analysis Plans.
• Perform pre-database-lock, interim and final non-compartmental analyses.
• Generate PK/PD tables, figures, graphs and attachments for clinical study reports.
• Develop data-handling rules and analysis documentation.
• Perform QC of analyses completed by other PK Scientists.
• Develop Clinical Pharmacology sections of CSRs.
