Job Role: Shop Floor Production
Biocon Biologics is seeking male candidates with experience in shop floor production for its state-of-the-art facilities. If you have experience working with biotechnology or chemical engineering processes, this is an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities in the Job
- Operate and maintain production equipment such as fermenters, centrifuges, chromatography columns, and freeze dryers.
- Monitor and control bioprocesses to ensure the quality and efficiency of production.
- Participate in daily production activities, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of production processes.
Qualification
- Diploma/BSc/MSc/BE in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Biotechnology, or Industrial Chemistry.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in shop floor production in the biopharma or chemical industry.
- Hands-on experience with fermentation, centrifugation, chromatography, and freeze-drying is a strong advantage.
Skills Required
- Strong technical understanding of bioprocess operations.
- Ability to handle production equipment like fermenters, centrifuges, and chromatography systems.
- Detail-oriented with good problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of safety and compliance standards in a production setting.
