Position
Product Support Trainee
The selected candidate will support production execution activities, monitor scheduled processes, resolve production issues, prepare reports, and contribute to process improvements and automation for IQVIA’s global operations.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the Product Support Trainee include:
- Execute, monitor, and troubleshoot production processes, escalating issues when required.
- Generate reports and rerun production processes according to established schedules.
- Provide first- and second-level support for mainframe infrastructure and its components.
- Participate in root cause analysis of production issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date process documentation and procedures.
- Complete and sign off account checklist items.
- Diagnose and resolve system-processing interruptions and hardware anomalies.
- Provide 24×7 production support, including escalation and resolution of production abends.
- Monitor daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly batch cycles.
- Report production statistics to clients and ensure batch cycles finish on schedule.
- Investigate long-running jobs and potential loopback issues in batch processing.
- Contribute to process enhancements and automation for global offerings.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates applying for the IQVIA Product Support Trainee position should meet the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: MCA, MSc, BE, BTech, or a master’s degree.
- Experience: 0–1 years in Mainframe Development or a Support function.
