Job Overview
The Lab Central Monitoring Manager will lead a team of Centralized Monitoring Project Coordinators (CPCs), ensuring high-quality study delivery, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across global clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Centralized Monitoring Project Coordinators (CPCs)
- Plan, assign, and supervise study-related work activities
- Conduct performance reviews, mentoring, and training programs
- Manage employee relations, HR actions, and onboarding processes
- Collaborate with global project teams to ensure quality and productivity
- Perform quality checks and mini audits to track staff performance
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement CAPA plans
- Monitor and report key performance metrics to management
- Identify risks and implement corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in clinical operations
Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (higher qualifications preferred)
- 6–9 years of clinical research experience
- 3–5 years in line management / team leadership roles
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ICH guidelines
- Understanding of clinical trial protocols and therapeutic areas
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office and clinical systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and global teams
