About the Role: Safety Associate Trainee
The Safety Associate Trainee position at IQVIA involves supporting drug safety operations, processing adverse event reports, and ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards. Fresh graduates will receive structured training in pharmacovigilance and real-world exposure to safety databases and quality processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform intake, review, and processing of Adverse Event (AE) reports
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations
- Maintain documentation in safety databases
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for case follow-up
- Support quality checks and timely case submissions
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to SOPs and GVP guidelines
Required Qualifications
- B. Pharm / M. Pharm / Pharm D (Freshers only)
- Basic understanding of drug safety, clinical research, and PV terminology
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to handle high-volume data
- Willingness to work in office-based mode (Kolkata)
