IQVIA is hiring a Safety Associate Trainee in Kolkata to review, assess, and process safety data from various sources. The role involves distributing reports to internal and external stakeholders while adhering to regulatory guidelines, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
✔ Prioritize and complete assigned trainings on time.
✔ Process Pharmacovigilance (PV) data per regulatory and project guidelines.
✔ Perform drug safety tasks including:
- Collecting and tracking Adverse Events (AEs).
- Determining initial/update status of incoming events.
- Database entry, medical coding (MedDRA/WHO-DD), and writing narratives.
- Handling literature-related activities.
✔ Ensure compliance with SOPs and safety regulations.
✔ Maintain expected productivity and quality standards.
✔ Attend team meetings and report challenges to the manager.
✔ Work independently while contributing to team goals.
Qualifications & Skills Required
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field.
✅ Freshers or entry-level candidates with a healthcare/science background can apply.
✅ Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
✅ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
✅ Attention to detail, ability to follow guidelines, and meet deadlines.
✅ Willingness to learn and adapt to new safety service lines.
✅ Ability to work in shifts (if required).
