Overview:
As a Safety Associate at IQVIA, you will play a critical role in reviewing, assessing, and processing safety data across various service lines. You will be responsible for distributing reports and data to both internal and external third parties while adhering to applicable regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal guidelines. You will be supported by senior operation team members throughout your work.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete assigned training sessions on time.
- Process safety data in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines.
- Conduct pharmacovigilance activities, including the collection and tracking of adverse events (AEs) and endpoint information.
- Handle database entry, code AEs and products, and write narratives as per project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with all project-related processes and activities.
- Identify quality issues and report them to a senior team member.
- Mentor new team members as assigned.
- Participate in project meetings and provide feedback on challenges and successes.
- Engage in other assigned duties as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or an equivalent qualification in scientific or healthcare disciplines; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- 1 to 1.5 years of relevant experience in safety data management or a similar role.
- Good understanding of medical terminology and safety databases.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with web-based applications.
