Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Data Specialist, you will:
- Lead Data Operations:
- Serve as a Data Operations Coordinator (DOC) for protocols or moderately complex central laboratory studies.
- Take leadership roles in specific data management tasks like coding, testing, or database designing.
- Data Management:
- Conduct data reviews and resolve clarifications.
- Lead database audit teams and develop/edit database specifications.
- Perform clinical data coding with adherence to core operating procedures.
- Collaboration:
- Foster excellent communication and working relationships with team members, managers, and clients.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you need:
- Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree in clinical, biological, or mathematical sciences, or a related field (or equivalent education, training, and experience). - Skills:
- Exposure to medical terminology.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Leadership and computer skills with an exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to act independently and solve problems proactively.
- Experience:
Proven expertise in clinical data management or related fields is preferred.
