This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or professionals with less than 2 years of experience to work on Derwent World Patent Index (DWPI™), a premier patent database.
Key Responsibilities:
- Indexing and coding chemical compounds from patents.
- Extracting pharmaceutical, agrochemical, and therapeutic data from patents.
- Drawing Markush structures and analyzing chemical reactions.
- Ensuring high-quality, efficient delivery of patent-related scientific information.
- Staying updated with the latest trends in pharmaceutical and chemistry domains.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance database accuracy.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: M.Sc (Chemistry/Biochemistry) / B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- Freshers or <2 years of experience in relevant fields.
- Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of chemical drawing tools (e.g., ISIS Draw).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication in English.
- Familiarity with IUPAC nomenclature (advantageous).
- Understanding of chemical reactions, catalysts, and additives.
