Key Responsibilities
As an Intern – Innovative Diagnostics at PATH, you will contribute to transformative projects in the diagnostics sector. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting Data Analysis and Secondary Research: Analyze health data and perform secondary research to inform project strategies in diagnostic technologies and health systems.
- Coordinating Multi-Stakeholder Meetings: Facilitate seamless coordination between program teams, stakeholders, and global health technology enterprises.
- Creating Technical Reports and Presentations: Develop high-quality technical reports, briefs, and visually appealing presentations for project updates and meetings.
- Supporting Project Management: Assist in planning, implementing, and tracking project activities, including capturing action items and key deliverables.
- Engaging with Health Technology Enterprises: Collaborate with local and global organizations to advance innovative diagnostics and AI-enabled solutions.
- Documenting and Reporting: Collate findings, circulate updates, and ensure accurate documentation for program teams.
Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Educational Background: Graduate or postgraduate degree in biomedical engineering, microbiology, biotechnology, or a related field with experience in medical devices and diagnostics.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with medical device regulations in India, the US, the UK, the EU, or South Africa is desirable.
- Analytical Skills: Strong primary and secondary research skills, with the ability to analyze health data being a plus.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office and comfortable with computer literacy; experience with data analysis tools is a bonus.
