📢 Position: Process Engineer
Department: API – Production
Job Location: Valia
Qualifications:
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering
- Experience: 7–10 years in API manufacturing operations
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of process engineering and GMP compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end scale-up activities from R&D/Plant to commercial production.
- Absorb and analyze R&D processes to optimize them for plant constraints.
- Map processes with available resources and coordinate with the operations head for strategic decisions.
- Oversee R&D demo batches, identify critical requirements, and provide improvement suggestions.
- Plan and execute DMF validation batches in compliance with CGMP standards.
- Select and finalize equipment for scaling up in collaboration with R&D and Production teams.
- Monitor initial scale-up batches, address bottlenecks, and provide solutions.
- Prepare material, energy balance, and effluent data for scale batches.
- Recover materials from ML and aqueous layers through extraction and distillation.
- Serve as a liaison between QC, QA, and R&D to ensure seamless technology transfer.
- Conduct HAZOP studies and implement recommendations.
- Develop and deliver process training, including do’s and don’ts for production teams.
