Key Responsibilities โ QC GLP Officer
- Monitor QC laboratory activities to ensure strict adherence to GLP, cGMP, and regulatory standards
- Conduct routine checks for data integrity, traceability, instrument cleanliness, and analyst practices
- Ensure compliance with ALCOA+ principles in all documentation
- Review laboratory logbooks, instrument usage logs, calibration records, raw data, worksheets, and analytical reports
- Assist in preparation, revision, and implementation of QC & GLP-related SOPs
- Participate in internal audits, external regulatory inspections (USFDA, WHO, MHRA), deviation investigations, OOS/OOT, and CAPA
- Perform self-inspections and support IQ/OQ/PQ of analytical instruments
- Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance schedules for instruments like HPLC, GC, UV, IR, Dissolution
- Provide GLP training to analysts and new joiners
- Ensure proper sample/reagent handling, labeling, storage, and environmental monitoring
Required Qualifications & Skills
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry / Biotechnology / Microbiology or equivalent
- 1โ4 years of experience in Quality Control (preferably in pharma injectable companies)
- Strong knowledge of GLP, GMP, GDP, ALCOA+, OOS/OOT handling, and regulatory guidelines (WHO, USFDA, MHRA)
- Hands-on experience with analytical instruments โ HPLC, GC, UV, IR, Dissolution Tester, etc.
- Excellent documentation and audit-facing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced injectable manufacturing environment
