Responsibilities
The Pharmacovigilance Assistant will support drug safety and adverse drug reaction monitoring activities under PvPI. Major responsibilities include:
- Processing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
- Managing pharmacovigilance cases in VigiFlow.
- Performing quality review of ICSRs maintained in the safety database.
- Supporting clinical review of Individual Case Safety Reports.
- Supporting statistical review of ICSRs.
- Maintaining the quality and accuracy of pharmacovigilance safety information.
- Performing other pharmacovigilance or administrative responsibilities assigned by the competent authority.
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized university or institute:
Master’s Degree in:
- Pharmacology
- Clinical Pharmacology
- Pharmacy Practice
- Clinical Research
OR
Candidates with any of the following professional qualifications are eligible:
- Pharm.D
- MBBS
