Responsibilities

The Pharmacovigilance Assistant will support drug safety and adverse drug reaction monitoring activities under PvPI. Major responsibilities include:

  • Processing Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs).
  • Managing pharmacovigilance cases in VigiFlow.
  • Performing quality review of ICSRs maintained in the safety database.
  • Supporting clinical review of Individual Case Safety Reports.
  • Supporting statistical review of ICSRs.
  • Maintaining the quality and accuracy of pharmacovigilance safety information.
  • Performing other pharmacovigilance or administrative responsibilities assigned by the competent authority.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized university or institute:

Master’s Degree in:

  • Pharmacology
  • Clinical Pharmacology
  • Pharmacy Practice
  • Clinical Research

OR

Candidates with any of the following professional qualifications are eligible:

  • Pharm.D
  • MBBS
  • BDS

Desirable Experience

Candidates with 1 year of experience in Drug Safety or Pharmacovigilance will be preferred.

Salary and Age Limit

The selected Pharmacovigilance Assistant will receive a monthly emolument of:
