Responsibilities in Job
As a Consumer Safety Science (CS) Scientist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of our products, both in clinical development and post-marketing phases. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Performing signal detection activities to identify and evaluate safety signals for designated products.
- Conducting database searches and using other methodologies to gather and analyze relevant safety data.
- Producing accurate and concise safety evaluation documents and responding to regulatory authority requests.
- Providing input into regulatory submissions and assisting in the development of safety-related documentation.
- Supporting the implementation of risk minimization strategies and updating product labeling.
- Assisting in the creation of Safety Data Exchange Agreements and maintaining readiness for audits and inspections.
- Representing Consumer Safety Science on cross-functional teams and contributing to process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you’ll need the following qualifications:

- Basic knowledge of causality assessment and methodologies for safety evaluation.
- Understanding of therapeutic areas, regulatory requirements, and statistical principles.
- Proficiency in medical and drug terminology.
- Competent medical writing and computing skills.
