Clarivate is looking for an Analyst to join the content team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with talented professionals skilled in market research, insights, and chemical analysis. The role involves interpreting chemical data, curating patents, and delivering insights to drive decision-making for pharmaceutical and chemical companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze chemical processes from data sources and draw structures using chemical drawing tools.
- Collect and curate chemistry patents following Clarivate’s editorial policies.
- Write reports to effectively communicate research insights.
- Achieve production targets in terms of volume and quality.
- Stay updated with developments in relevant chemical fields.
- Use IUPAC nomenclature and other structure handling tools to annotate chemical structures.
About You
- Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry, General Chemistry, or Organic Chemistry.
- Experience: 0–1 year, with knowledge of tools like ISIS Draw or similar drawing packages.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
Preferred Skills:
- Expertise in IUPAC nomenclature and structure-handling tools.
- Comprehensive knowledge of chemical reactions, formulae, catalysts, and additives.

The Chemistry Team is a group of business insights analysts who conduct research and market studies. The team supports pharmaceutical and chemical companies in developing new products and managing existing ones by providing research-based insights.
