About the Role: Medical Documentation Specialist

Role Overview:
As a Medical Documentation Specialist at Augmedix, you will be a critical part of the healthcare team, assisting doctors in documenting patient information accurately in the EHR. You will work closely with physicians across various specialties, including primary care, orthopedics, and rheumatology, ensuring that medical records are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist doctors in real-time with documenting patient visits in the EHR.
  • Update patient history, physical exams, and other relevant health information.
  • Comply with HIPAA and organizational compliance standards.
  • Enhance provider productivity and workflow by taking on additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • A graduate in any discipline.
  • Fluency in English with strong comprehension and writing skills.
  • Excellent computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new technology.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.

  • Willingness to work night shifts (aligning with US time zones, EST to PST).
