Certification Required: CPC/CCS/COC/CRC (Mandatory)
Eligibility: Any Life Science Graduate (BPT/MPT, B.Pharm/M.Pharm, B.Sc/M.Sc, Nursing, Nutrition, Zoology, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Genetics)
Key Responsibilities:
- Assigning accurate medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) to diagnoses and procedures
- Ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
- Reviewing patient records for documentation accuracy
- Collaborating with healthcare providers for clarity on medical records
