Position
Apprentice – IT Product Management (Sales and Marketing)
The apprentice will join Fortrea’s Product Management group within the Office of the CIO. The team develops and manages IT solutions for Marketing and Sales operations in the life sciences industry, collaborating with global colleagues, AI/ML teams, Microsoft Copilot specialists, and external technology vendors.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with global Marketing and Commercial teams on life sciences initiatives.
- Manage IT products used by Marketing and Commercial teams.
- Support AI projects throughout the product lifecycle, from user requirement discovery and development to deployment.
- Work with Agile development processes and vendors.
- Support deployment activities using Azure DevOps.
- Assist with project documentation and reporting.
- Participate in training and professional development activities.
- Follow Fortrea’s applicable standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Eligibility and Qualifications
- An engineering degree is preferred.
- Exposure to life sciences is desirable.
- Candidates should have an interest in AI, healthcare innovation, and IT product management.
- Applicants should be comfortable collaborating with global teams in a remote working environment.
- Willingness to work the 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST shift is required for this role.
Required Skills
Candidates should demonstrate the following skills and knowledge:
- AI and Microsoft Copilot: Interest in developing no-code tools using Microsoft Copilot.
- Microsoft Azure: Practical knowledge of Azure technologies, including Power Platform and Azure DevOps.
- Agile methodologies: Interest in Agile ways of working; an existing or upcoming certification is preferred.
- Product management: Ability to support IT products and AI initiatives from requirements discovery through deployment.
- Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to discuss complex topics with business stakeholders.
- Problem-solving: A creative, solution-oriented approach to challenges.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with colleagues across global, remote teams.
- Marketing and Sales technology: General understanding of marketing websites, marketing automation, and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
