Job Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Conducting in vitro screens and mechanistic studies for novel chemical entities (NCEs).
- Performing cell-based and biochemical experiments to evaluate target activity and understand compound mechanisms.
- Collaborating with discovery scientists and in vitro team members across drug discovery programmes.
- Analysing experimental data using statistical methods to support scientific decision-making.
- Recording experimental data and observations in the prescribed company formats.
- Following laboratory systems, processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation practices.
- Managing laboratory reagents, consumables, equipment, and cell stocks.
- Contributing scientific ideas and participating in cross-functional research activities.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates applying for the Enveda Research Associate / Senior Research Associate vacancy should meet the following requirements:
- Educational qualification: M.Sc. or M.Tech in Biochemistry or Biotechnology.
- Experience: 1–4 years of research experience in an academic or industrial R&D setting.
- Hands-on experience in cell-based and cell-free assays.
- Practical knowledge of cell culture, assay development, compound screening, and molecular biology techniques.
- Understanding of statistical concepts, including ANOVA, and experience with GraphPad Prism for data analysis.
- Ability to maintain accurate experimental records and comply with laboratory SOPs and good documentation practices.
Candidates with experience in advanced techniques such as HTRF, AlphaLISA, and flow cytometry will have an added advantage. Knowledge of the drug discovery workflow is also beneficial.
