Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will support Eastman’s Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs team by performing activities including:

Safety Data Sheet (SDS) Management

  • Assist in planning, development, maintenance, and implementation of SDS authoring processes.
  • Ensure SDS documents are accurate, compliant, and delivered within timelines.
  • Maintain SDS and label data for new, existing, intermediate, and experimental products.

Regulatory Data Management

  • Maintain regulatory and compositional information from suppliers and business units.
  • Enter and maintain hazard assessment and regulatory data in product compliance systems.
  • Support global hazard communication requirements and regulatory compliance initiatives.

Product Compliance Activities

  • Retrieve and analyze information using product compliance tools.
  • Perform database searches, review product specifications, and manage labeling information.
  • Support product stewardship activities and regulatory assignments.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with internal teams and third-party translation vendors.
  • Participate in projects aimed at continuous process improvement.
  • Provide internal and external customer support related to hazard communication and SDS distribution.

Eligibility Criteria

Basic Qualifications

Candidates with any of the following educational backgrounds may apply:

  • Associate Degree in Chemistry
  • Biological Sciences
  • Toxicology
  • Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
  • Equivalent educational qualifications and experience in related disciplines

Experience

  • Freshers and professionals with 0–2 years of relevant experience are eligible.

Technical Skills

  • Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet applications
  • SAP or similar enterprise applications
  • Data management and documentation skills

Estimated Salary
