Position: Healthcare / Clinical AI Testing Intern
Interns will work with clinicians, hospital teams, and internal project and technology teams to evaluate the accuracy, completeness, usability, and effectiveness of AI-enabled clinical documentation and hospital workflow tools.
The role covers testing across outpatient consultations, inpatient documentation, and discharge summaries.
Responsibilities
- Support supervised testing and validation across outpatient consultations, inpatient documentation, and discharge summaries.
- Compare AI-generated outputs with authorised source information.
- Identify missing, incorrect, incomplete, or unsupported content.
- Review clinical information such as symptoms, medical history, diagnoses, medications, investigations, and follow-up instructions.
- Assess the usability of AI-enabled tools within routine hospital workflows.
- Support capacity-building activities for hospital and clinical teams.
- Assist with user onboarding and basic orientation under supervision.
- Maintain structured testing and feedback trackers.
- Document case references, findings, clinical significance, and improvement suggestions.
- Report technical issues with clear, reproducible examples.
- Retest reported issues following system updates.
- Gather feedback from clinicians and hospital teams.
- Prepare daily updates and weekly summaries covering testing progress, findings, issues, and feedback.
- Coordinate with clinical, implementation, and technology teams.
- Follow hospital requirements related to patient consent, confidentiality, and secure handling of health information.
Eligibility / Qualifications
