Key Responsibilities
As a Data Scientist I at BMS, you will:
- Analyze and interpret complex data to derive actionable insights aligned with GPS priorities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and maintain data pipelines, predictive models, dashboards, and reports.
- Partner with IT teams to build and enhance data infrastructure for efficient analytics.
- Deliver presentations and visualizations to communicate insights across all organizational levels.
- Apply MLOps best practices including code version control, pipeline management, and deployment.
- Work flexible hours ensuring sufficient overlap with East Coast US working hours.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Data Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
- 0โ3 years of experience in data analytics, predictive modeling, and visualization.
- Strong expertise in Python, advanced SQL, AWS, GitHub, Tableau.
- Familiarity with machine learning, AI, and time-series modeling.
- Knowledge of MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
- Biopharma or GPS industry exposure is advantageous.
