Key Responsibilities
- Collect raw healthcare data files from CMS, AMA, and other public sources.
- Clean and format data using Excel, with SQL and basic Python introduced progressively.
- Convert raw data into CoverSelf table formats.
- Maintain industry tables, custom tables, and code sets.
- Compare old and new data files and prepare change summary reports.
- Perform quality checks for duplicates, missing values, formatting errors, and date overlaps.
- Prepare data profiling reports and communicate data mismatches.
- Review healthcare policy and fee schedule updates under team guidance.
- Document data processing steps and participate in team discussions.
Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Data Science or Statistics.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Basic understanding of SQL or willingness to learn it quickly.
- Attention to detail and patience with repetitive data-related tasks.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Willingness to learn US healthcare concepts from scratch.
Prior healthcare experience and CPC or other medical coding certification are not required.

- SQL: SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, and GROUP BY.
