Position: Healthcare Analytics Analyst
The selected candidate will analyze healthcare claims, authorization, utilization, cost, and clinical outcome data to improve analytics solutions and support data-driven decisions. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and clients to optimize automated decision-making strategies and identify opportunities to improve healthcare value.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, develop, implement, and optimize automated decision-making strategies for new client implementations.
- Build and maintain analytical solutions and reports using healthcare data.
- Analyze healthcare costs, operational performance, and clinical outcomes using claims and authorization data.
- Identify opportunities to improve decision-making performance and client value.
- Monitor healthcare costs, utilization, and industry trends.
- Prepare client-facing reports, data visualizations, dashboards, and self-service analytics solutions.
- Develop, review, and analyze datasets for client reporting and analytics.
- Collaborate with the IPA team on rule refinement and performance metric tracking.
- Support product performance analysis and the development of clinical intervention strategies and product enhancements.
Eligibility and Qualifications
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in an analyst role, preferably in health technology, health plans, or healthcare consulting.
- Hands-on experience with medical claims data, authorization data, or utilization management data.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Public Health, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment.
- Strong communication skills to translate analytical findings into actionable insights.
