Key Responsibilities
As a Pre-Clinical Research Associate at Cadila Pharma, you will be responsible for:
- Planning and execution of blood collection from various laboratory animals.
- Monitoring anesthesia and euthanasia procedures.
- Conducting necropsy examinations and preparing detailed reports.
- Histopathological slide preparation, trimming, processing, staining, and reading.
- Reporting toxicological and efficacy study findings.
- Conducting clinical chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urine analysis.
- Ensuring internal and external quality control of biochemical analysis.
- Drafting SOPs for pathology and laboratory processes.
- Supervising maintenance of histopathology instruments.
- Supporting pharmacological evaluation projects.
- Ensuring calibration, preventive maintenance, and sample management in pathology labs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in pre-clinical research or toxicology/pathology labs.
- Strong knowledge of GLP, histopathology, and laboratory practices.
- Ability to prepare scientific reports and comply with regulatory standards.
