Job Description: Clinical Database Programmer (CDP)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, validate, and maintain clinical study databases in compliance with study protocols, DMP, SOPs, and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure seamless integration of clinical data from internal and external sources (e.g., labs, ECG, third-party vendors).
  • Provide technical programming support for data management, SAS programmers, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain data review and reporting tools for Clinical, Medical, and Regulatory teams.
  • Support data exchange with external partners, including Safety and Independent Data Monitoring Committees.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.
  • Mentor and train junior team members while assisting in work delegation.
  • Stay updated with technological advancements and CDISC standards for clinical data management.
  • Participate in vendor evaluations to ensure compliance with project and quality standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in clinical data programming with expertise in clinical data tools.
  • Experience in leading clinical programming for global studies is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CDISC standards, data validation, and database management.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
