Key Responsibilities

As an Associate STEM Content Analyst, you will:

Apply biotechnology, genetics, and molecular biology principles to curate biological sequence data from patent documents.
Manually index nucleic acid and amino acid sequences found in specifications, including PDF and TIFF formats.
Create new sequences or fragments described in patents but not explicitly listed in the formal sequence files.
Ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to Clarivate’s editorial guidelines.
Meet weekly production and accuracy targets while maintaining scientific integrity.
Utilize databases such as NCBI Taxonomy and PubMed for biological validation.

Required Qualifications

Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Microbiology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry.
Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in patent indexing, abstract writing, or disease indexing.
Good understanding of MS Office, PDF/TIFF files, and biological databases like NCBI and PubMed.
Strong analytical, research, and documentation skills.

Preferred Experience

1–2 years of hands-on work in patent indexing, gene sequencing, disease indexing, or related IP-based biological data analysis.
Familiarity with patent systems and scientific curation tools.
