Key Responsibilities
As an Associate STEM Content Analyst, you will:
- Analyze and extract scientific information from pharmaceutical and chemistry-related patents.
- Index and code chemical compounds according to DWPI editorial guidelines.
- Extract pharmaceutical, therapeutic, agrochemical, and drug-related information from patents.
- Interpret chemical reactions, compositions, and compound structures.
- Draw and analyze Markush structures and chemical entities.
- Maintain productivity targets while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Stay updated on developments in pharmaceutical sciences and chemistry.
- Utilize chemical structure handling and drawing tools effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to process improvements.
- Support managers with additional responsibilities as required.
Educational Qualifications
Candidates with the following qualifications are eligible:
- B.Pharm
- M.Pharm
- M.Sc Chemistry
- M.Sc Biochemistry
Experience Requirements

- Candidates with less than 2 years of relevant experience are also eligible.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of chemical drawing software such as ISIS Draw.
- Understanding of chemical reactions, catalysts, additives, and formulations.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical compounds and drug information extraction.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex scientific data.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- IUPAC nomenclature knowledge will be an added advantage.
