The Junior Officer – Production will monitor and execute production activities in an assigned area during the shift while maintaining cGMP and safety norms to achieve production targets. The role involves managing resources, maintaining documentation, ensuring GMP and safety compliance, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute production activities in a shift by managing available resources to achieve production targets.
• Carry out assigned tasks as per planned production activity to meet shift targets.
• Regulate usage of consumables in the production process at optimum levels to save costs.
• Improve area efficiency by proper utilization of equipment and reduction of downtime in the manufacturing area.
• Maintain standard process parameters as per BMRs and other supporting documents for production and quality requirements.
• Ensure operations are performed as per GMP and safety norms by reviewing processes and documents for compliance.
• Ensure equipment, facility and block premises are maintained as per regulatory compliance.
• Update documentation and deviations on CipDox while performing operations.
• Perform validation, qualification and calibration as per schedule and update activity outputs in the systems.
• Prepare new documents and update existing documents as per GMP requirements.
• Prepare manufacturing records and maintain online documentation to meet production and cGMP requirements.
• Maintain timely entries in BMR and supporting documents.
• Operate software such as SAP, CipDox and QMS.
• Follow safe work processes and ensure safety appliances are utilized during production activities in shifts.
• Ensure safety systems and procedures are followed by operators in the shift.
• Coordinate with the HSE department for PPE requirements and shift schedule.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Engineering and Utility, Formulation Technical Support, Formulation Technology Transfer, Stores and Warehouse, Safety, maintenance contractors, vendors and equipment manufacturers as required.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Bachelor in Pharmacy

Experience

• 2-4 Years
• 3-4 years of experience with 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Knowledge of cGMP practices and equipment operations required for Formulation Production
