Position: Scientist – Pharmaceutical Development

Location: Aurigene Oncology

Desired Profile:

  • Qualification:
    • M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) with 8-10 years of industrial experience
    • PhD in drug delivery/biopharmaceutics with 1-4 years of industrial experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulation Development: Hands-on experience in developing and manufacturing novel formulations to enhance the bio-pharmaceutical properties and bioavailability of New Chemical Entities (NCEs).
  • Delivery Systems Expertise: In-depth knowledge in developing advanced oral and parenteral delivery systems, such as:
    • Lipid-based delivery systems
    • Nano-particulate systems
    • Biodegradable polymeric systems
  • NCE Knowledge: Expertise in physicochemical properties of NCEs, particularly those classified as BCS Class II/III/IV molecules, and understanding of molecules “beyond the rule of 5” is essential.
  • Pharmaceutical Development Process: Comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical development process during NCE development, including formulation, solid-state characterization, polymorph screening, and salt screening experiments.
  • GLP, GMP, ICH Compliance: Experience in creating protocols, SOPs, and guidelines for lab equipment and instruments, with a solid understanding of GLP, GMP, and ICH guidelines for safety, health, and environmental standards.
