🔬 Key Responsibilities
- Validate AI-generated biological data for accuracy and compliance.
- Build, clean, and curate high-quality biological training datasets.
- Perform ontology mapping across biological and genomic databases.
- Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to refine and interpret datasets.
- Resolve edge cases in biological data through domain expertise.
- Maintain adherence to global data compliance and regulatory standards.
🧠 Required Technical Expertise
- Databases: OMIM, Ensembl, OpenTargets, GEO, ArrayExpress, GeneCards, etc.
- Tools & Frameworks: Bioconductor, Galaxy, and other bioinformatics pipelines.
- Core Skills: Ontology mapping, annotation consistency, data normalization.
- Knowledge Base: Strong grasp of genomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics formats.
🎓 Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in applied bioinformatics or biological data validation.
- Previous collaboration experience with AI/ML teams is a plus.
