Job Description

As a Market Supply Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the Regional Demand Teams within Global Supply Chain & Strategy (GSC&S). This position acts as the essential link between the Marketing Company (MC) and the Supply Organization, ensuring seamless communication and efficient supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Single Point of Contact: Serve as the operational contact for demand management for an assigned portfolio.
  • Demand Validation: Verify demand volumes and capture associated market intelligence.
  • Product Supply Issues: Collaborate with Site, Global Logistics, and the Commercial Team to resolve supply issues.
  • Early Detection: Support stock-out detection and communicate effectively with local health authorities, as necessary.
  • Escalation and Resolution: Report potential issues and gaps to the Market Company Account Manager (MCAM) and utilize the TIER process for escalation.
  • Forecast Monitoring: Review and monitor forecast quality metrics and supply chain parameters.
  • Pre-IBP and IBP Meetings: Lead or support market pre-Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and IBP meetings.
  • Lifecycle Initiatives: Assist in product discontinuation and divestment processes.
  • Lean Practices: Apply Lean principles in daily operations to drive improvements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of Demand Planning and Supply Chain methodologies.
  • Proficiency in planning systems such as ECC, APO, or OMP.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder and customer management capabilities.
  • Confident communication and collaborative working skills, particularly in diverse cultural settings.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Lean tools for process improvement.
  • Background in statistical forecasting or commercial roles.
  • APICS certification is an added advantage.
