Sanofi, a global leader in healthcare, is seeking an Associate Scientific Writer to join its Opella Healthcare (Consumer Healthcare) team in Hyderabad. This role is part of the Science Hub, which aims to empower consumers to take control of their health through innovative scientific communication and education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop specialized scientific content (slide decks, abstracts, posters, manuscripts) under supervision.
- Support end-to-end publication and medical education content development, including documentation and approvals in PromoMats/iEnvision.
- Build and maintain expertise in assigned therapeutic areas.
- Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and healthcare professionals to enhance content quality.
- Assist in conducting publication-need analysis and implementing publication plans.
- Work with vendors to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Customize content based on feedback from Product Managers, Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs), and medical teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or related field (MD, PhD, or equivalent preferred).
Experience:
- 1-3 years in scientific/medical writing (pharma, healthcare, or academia).
- Familiarity with publication submission processes and medical communication strategies.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of therapeutic areas.
- Proficiency in scientific writing, editing, and project management.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent English communication (written & spoken).
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
