Associate Patent Coordinator Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Support patent filing and prosecution formalities.
- Prepare, review, and maintain patent documentation.
- Manage patent correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.
- Update patent management systems with bibliographic data and case status.
- Coordinate Indian patent filing and prosecution formalities.
- Support selected international patent formalities including EPO, USPTO, and PCT processes.
- Track patent deadlines and ensure timely completion of activities.
- Perform quality checks on patent records and archived documentation.
- Coordinate with patent attorneys and external IP agents.
- Assist in process improvements and documentation initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- 1โ2 years of experience in Patent Administration, IP Operations, or Legal Support.
- Experience using Patent/IP Management Systems.
- Understanding of patent filing and prosecution processes.
- Knowledge of Indian patent formalities.
- Awareness of EPO, USPTO, and PCT procedures (preferred).
- Strong documentation and record management skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
