Key Responsibilities
- Perform sampling and analysis of water, including chemical and microbiological testing, and record the relevant data.
- Perform microbiological environmental monitoring of the clean area.
- Perform Microbiological limit test/method suitability testing of Microbial Limit test.
- Prepare culture media and perform quality testing of prepared media.
- Perform all activities as per the approved specification/STPs/SOPs.
- Perform microbiological testing as per the approved Validation / Qualification protocol.
- Report any OOS/OOC/OOT/OOAL results to the immediate supervisor /Head of the department.
- Perform daily Verification /Calibration of the microbiology laboratory instrument.
- Prepare and standardise volumetric solutions /reagents and maintain their records.
- Perform all activities in compliance to cGMP / GLP and maintain cleanliness and hygienic conditions in the microbiology laboratory.
- Perform sampling and analysis of Raw material, including chemical and microbiological testing, and record relevant data.
- Perform the analysis of finished product, in-process and stability samples as per SOP/STP/specification/ protocol/pharmacopoeias requirement as applicable.
- Carry out destruction of samples that are unused/left-over quantity after analysis as per the respective SOP.
Qualification
- B Sc (Micro)- Required
- M Sc (Micro) – Preferred
