💼 Key Responsibilities (Copy Editor – Pharma)
- Perform copyediting of pharmaceutical promotional and educational materials
- Ensure compliance with:
- AMA Manual of Style
- Brand guidelines & SOPs
- Identify and correct:
- Grammar, punctuation, formatting errors
- Trademark, ISI, part number, and date errors
- Conduct QC checks post-review cycles
- Ensure no new errors are introduced during revisions
- Collaborate with PRC (Promotional Review Committee) teams
- Create and maintain editorial style guides
- Perform Veeva-approved copy validation
- Verify:
- Approved distribution status
- Layout accuracy vs approved version
- Coordinate with stakeholders for content approval workflows
🎓 Qualifications & Eligibility
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences
(B.Pharm, M.Pharm, BSc, MSc preferred)
Experience Required
- 2–4 years in:
- Pharma content editing
- Medical proofreading
- Promotional material review
🧠 Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of:
- AMA Manual of Style / Chicago Manual
- Expertise in:
- US & UK English editing
- Scientific terminology & medical jargon
- Hands-on experience with:
