If you hold an M.Sc in Microbiology/Biotechnology and have at least 1 year of hands-on experience in sterile injectable microbiology testing, this role offers outstanding long-term career growth in one of the fastest-growing pharma companies in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbial limit testing (MLT), sterility testing, BET (bacterial endotoxin test), and environmental monitoring of clean rooms (Grade A to D) for injectable products
- Conduct water testing, bioburden testing, and growth promotion tests as per USP/EP/IP
- Handle media preparation, sterilization, and culture maintenance
- Perform identification of microorganisms using conventional and rapid methods
- Maintain GLP and GDP in the QC Microbiology laboratory
- Participate in qualification/validation of equipment and clean rooms
- Investigate OOS/OOT and microbial deviations
- Prepare and review SOPs, protocols, and trend analysis reports
Qualifications & Experience Required
- M.Sc in Microbiology / Biotechnology
- 1–6 years of relevant experience in QC Microbiology for sterile injectables
- Hands-on experience with sterility testing, BET (LAL test), MLT, and environmental monitoring
- Good knowledge of current GMP, 21 CFR, and Schedule M requirements
- Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice period preferred
- Apprentices with relevant injectable microbiology project experience may also apply
