Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Research Associate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Selecting and qualifying potential investigators and study sites.
  • Managing study start-up activities, including document submission to EC/IRB and regulatory authorities.
  • Conducting site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits in compliance with GCP and AstraZeneca SOPs.
  • Ensuring timely resolution of study-related issues and escalating as necessary.
  • Reviewing Case Report Forms (CRFs), source data, and ensuring data query resolution.
  • Monitoring adverse event reporting and ensuring proper follow-up.
  • Performing regular quality risk assessments and ensuring sites are inspection-ready.
  • Maintaining essential study documents and ensuring accurate eTMF documentation.
  • Collaborating with the Local Study Team (LST) to share progress and insights.
  • Supporting audit and inspection readiness in coordination with the Quality and Regulatory teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelorโ€™s or Masterโ€™s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
  • Prior internship or exposure to clinical trial monitoring or GCP guidelines (freshers with strong knowledge are encouraged).
  • Strong understanding of ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and risk-based monitoring (RbQM).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and travel for site visits.
