The Coordinator, EDC (Electronic Data Capture) role in the Quality Control department offers an exciting opportunity to support clinical research teams in data validation, GCP compliance, and electronic data integrity.
In this position, youโll work closely with site staff, sponsors, and IT teams to ensure that clinical trial data collection meets FDA, IRB, and sponsor-specific standards. Key Responsibilities
- Support clinical research site staff with accurate data entry, query resolution, and validation checks.
- Ensure all data management processes comply with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and FDA regulations.
- Monitor and resolve data discrepancies, performing timely data cleaning activities.
- Collaborate with clinical research, IT, and sponsor teams to enhance EDC workflows and reporting efficiency.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate EDC system issues as necessary.
- Maintain adherence to data security and sponsor-specific documentation requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Education:
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelorโs or Technical degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 1โ2 years in clinical research, healthcare, or laboratory settings.
- Familiarity with research regulations (GCP, IRB, FDA) is an advantage.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of clinical data collection and validation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced research environment.
