PharmSight Research and Analytics, a leading strategic consulting firm in the biopharmaceutical sector, is hiring an Associate/Analyst – RWE/HEOR Specialist in India (Remote). Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end RWE/HEOR analytics, including patient journey analysis, outcomes assessment, and cost/utilization modeling.
- Extract, clean, and analyze large claims and EHR/EMR datasets (IQVIA, Optum, MarketScan, HealthVerity, CPRD, etc.).
- Create statistical summaries, cross-tabs, and reproducible outputs using SQL and Excel.
- Present findings in PowerPoint/Excel and draft client deliverables.
- Collaborate with project teams and communicate insights to global pharma stakeholders.
- Independently manage assigned projects or support senior staff with minimal supervision.
- Contribute to internal process improvements and knowledge development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health, Health Economics, Biostatistics, or related fields.
- 6 months to 1 year of hands-on experience in RWE/HEOR, pharma analytics, or healthcare data analysis.
- Experience with healthcare claims/clinical datasets: IQVIA, Optum, Truven/MarketScan, Symphony, CPRD.
- Knowledge of ICD-9/10, CPT, NDC, HCPCS coding systems and patient cohort construction.
- Strong SQL skills (Snowflake, Redshift, DBeaver) and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar analytics tools is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
