Key Responsibilities
As an Executive – IP, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the branded portfolio from an IP perspective.
- Conducting life cycle management of branded and NCE portfolios.
- Preparing landscape, freedom to operate (FTO), and infringement analysis reports.
- Monitoring competition, regulatory exclusivities, and earliest generic entry (LoE).
- Evaluating patentability, drafting, filing, and patent prosecution.
- Supporting IP enforcement activities and litigation strategies.
- Performing IP due diligence for in-licensing, mergers, acquisitions, and out-licensing projects.
- Reviewing agreements including CDA, IITs, MSA, and MTA.
- Conducting validity analysis of blocking patents and identifying new in-licensing opportunities.
- Collaborating with global attorneys and internal stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education:
- M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) or Ph.D. in Pharmacy.
- Certification in Patent Law (preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum 2+ years in IP portfolio management, patent drafting, and prosecution.
- Skills:
- Strong expertise in managing NCE portfolios.
- Hands-on experience in patent litigation and IP strategy.
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills.
