Job Responsibilities
Team Lead (HPLC, GC, Proximate Analysis, LCMS, GCMS)
- Oversee analytical testing processes for food safety and quality.
- Lead a team in executing HPLC, GC, LCMS, and GCMS analyses.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI and international regulatory standards.
- Develop and validate analytical methods for nutrition and residue testing.
- Train and mentor junior analysts to maintain high-quality standards.
- Manage laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and data reporting.
Analyst / Senior Analyst (HPLC, GC, LCMS/MS, GCMS/MS)
- Conduct proximate analysis, HPLC, GC, LCMS/MS, or GCMS/MS testing.
- Prepare samples and perform accurate residue and nutritional analysis.
- Document results and ensure adherence to SOPs and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with team leads to troubleshoot analytical challenges.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Pharm, M.Pharm, M.Sc., or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related fields.
- Experience:
- Team Lead: 6-8 years in food analytical testing (HPLC, GC, LCMS, GCMS).
- Analyst / Senior Analyst: 2-4 years in HPLC, GC, LCMS/MS, or GCMS/MS.
- Skills: Proficiency in analytical techniques, knowledge of FSSAI regulations, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Certifications: FSSAI Food Analyst certification is a plus.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, team player, and committed to quality.
