Job Responsibilities
As a professional in the QC or AQA department at Hetero Labs, you will play a critical role in ensuring pharmaceutical quality and compliance. Responsibilities include:
Quality Control (Chemist, Asst. Manager/Dy. Manager)
- Conduct wet chemical analysis, including Karl Fischer titration, potentiometric titration, and pH measurements.
- Perform investigations and serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for QC processes.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.
- Calibrate laboratory instruments like balances and pH meters daily.
- Document results accurately and maintain compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Quality Assurance (AQA – Sr. Officer/Sr. Executive)
- Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) for API operations.
- Conduct validations and verifications of processes, equipment, and systems.
- Oversee documentation reviews and change control processes.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including FDA and ISO standards.
- Support dispatch processes for timely and accurate delivery of products.
Qualifications
To excel in these QC and AQA roles, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Education: B.Sc, M.Sc. in Chemistry or related fields.
- Experience:
- Quality Control (Chemist): 1–4 years in wet analysis.
- Quality Control (Asst. Manager/Dy. Manager): 6–10 years as an investigation SME.
- Quality Assurance (AQA – Sr. Officer/Sr. Executive): 2–6 years in AQA or related roles.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with wet lab techniques.
- Knowledge of GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations.
- Proficiency in handling laboratory instruments like HPLC, GC, or Malvern for particle size distribution.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
