Responsibilities
As an Associate QC at Amgen’s Hyderabad office, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and standardization of analytical processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and revising ELN templates for analytical method executions to support Amgen’s global QC network.
- Qualifying ELN templates to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Developing and updating consumable templates for inventory management within the QC framework.
- Collaborating with team members at Amgen India (AIN) across shifts to meet project deadlines and deliverables.
- Following established procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to deliver tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Providing remote support to Amgen sites across multiple time zones, leveraging virtual communication tools.
- Assisting in generating performance metrics to track QC system efficiency.
- Maintaining up-to-date training records to comply with regulatory requirements.
This role requires flexibility to work a shift-based schedule and occasionally outside regular hours to support global business needs.
Qualifications
To excel in this Quality Control job in Hyderabad, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- Education: Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related disciplines).
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in Quality Control within commercial or clinical manufacturing in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
- Functional Skills:
- Hands-on experience with QC lab testing.
- Familiarity with Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
- Proven ability to deliver results accurately in a team-oriented environment.
