Responsibilities
As an Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance at Mega Life Sciences, you will:
- Conduct thorough audits of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and Finished Product (FP) manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Evaluate suppliers for adherence to Mega’s quality policy and international guidelines.
- Develop and execute the FP supplier audit calendar, analyzing observation trends for Mega products.
- Coordinate and compile the Annual Product Quality Review (APQR) for Mega’s product portfolio.
- Review APQRs in alignment with Mega’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Prepare risk assessments to support quality assurance processes.
- Provide documentation review and support during technology transfer activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions between manufacturing sites or processes.
Qualifications
To excel in this pharmaceutical QA role, candidates should have:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Pharmacy.
- 8-12 years of experience in Plant Quality Assurance, Corporate Quality Control, or Corporate Quality Assurance.
- Strong knowledge of international pharmaceutical guidelines (e.g., cGMP, ICH).
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with supplier audits, APQR compilation, and risk assessments.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
