Key Responsibilities of the Role

As a Proposal, Budget & Contracts Associate at Novotech, you will play a critical role in supporting business development and project execution. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Proposal Development:
    • Craft high-quality proposals and presentation materials that align with client requirements and Novotech branding guidelines.
    • Edit and format proposals for clarity, consistency, and visual appeal.
    • Research and compile statistics and company information to strengthen proposals.
    • Maintain and update proposal templates to ensure compliance and relevance.
  • Budget Preparation:
    • Develop project budgets based on client specifications and timelines.
    • Create additional budget elements, such as client mapping, as needed.
    • Collaborate with vendors to obtain accurate quotations for project needs.
  • Contract Management:
    • Prepare and execute client contracts within agreed timeframes, following Novotech’s Contract Review SOP.
    • Incorporate budgets into contracts and ensure proper formatting.
    • Follow the Start-Up Work Authorization process for seamless project handover to the Operations team.
    • Engage with vendors to secure quotes based on protocols and vendor lists.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Maintain professional communication with external parties, reflecting Novotech’s commitment to excellence.
    • Participate in internal and client calls to develop opportunity documents.
    • Update and manage opportunity and contract records in Salesforce and SharePoint.

Qualifications and Experience Required

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Education: Graduate degree in a clinical or life sciences field. Relevant qualifications in allied professions may be considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years in the pharmaceutical industry, with direct client interaction experience highly valued.
  • Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and editing skills.
