Position: Medical Coder – MCC
Location: Chennai, Coimbatore, Pune (Work from Office)

Key Responsibilities:
- Review and validate Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCC) and diagnoses from medical records.
- Ensure accurate ICD-10-CM coding per CMS Risk Adjustment Guidelines.
- Verify documentation supports coding for Medicare & Medicaid Risk Adjustment.
- Apply anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology knowledge for precise coding.
- Meet production and quality targets as per client SLA.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with coding standards.
- Address coding discrepancies and ensure HCC capture accuracy for reimbursement.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate degree (Medical, Paramedical, or Life Science preferred).
- Mandatory AAPC/AHIMA Certification:
- CRC (Certified Risk Coder) – Most Preferred
- CPC, CIC, COC, or AHIMA-CCS also accepted.
- 1+ years of medical coding experience (HCC coding preferred).
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CMS guidelines, and risk adjustment.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy & physiology.
Preferred:
- Experience in Medicare/Medicaid Risk Adjustment coding.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and coding software.
