📌 Job Description
The Approved Microbiologist will oversee critical microbiological operations, ensuring compliance with cGMP, EU-GMP, USFDA, and WHO standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting Sterility Testing, BET, MLT, and Environmental Monitoring.
- Serving as the Approved Signatory Microbiologist for regulatory submissions.
- Reviewing and approving test reports, SOPs, and protocols.
- Managing aseptic practices, media fill validation, and water system qualification.
- Leading OOS investigations, deviations, and CAPA implementation.
- Handling lab instruments (Sterility Isolators, LAF, Autoclaves) and ensuring calibration.
- Representing the microbiology department during regulatory audits (USFDA, WHO).
- Training junior staff on GLP, safety protocols, and compliance.
